A fine-textured, grass-like plant, path rush grows to just a foot tall and can be used as a groundcover or lawn replacement. A tough plant that tolerates moderate foot traffic, clay, and compacted soil. Widely used in rain gardens. Feeds moth caterpillars, grasshoppers, and katydids.
