Fragaria virginiana

Wild strawberry packs tons of flavor into mini berries. Forms a groundcover that can overtake short plants growing nearby. May not fruit consistently, but full sun and watering during dry spells can help. Makes a good lawn replacement (especially in part shade) if weeded during establishment. If you are familiar with this plant in the wild, note that it may be much more vigorous in a garden setting.
