Using the shrub grids

  1. Refer to the tree and shrub selection guide to determine your site's characteristics.
  2. Choose the large or small shrub grid based on the space available at your site.
  3. Select the column with your soil moisture, and the row with your sun exposure. The trees in the intersecting box are a good fit for your site.
  4. Shrubs with an (A) need acid soil and with a (B) need basic soil.
