Plants for birds

The Lake Erie shoreline is an incredibly important place for bird migration. Migratory birds pause here to fuel up before crossing the lake in the spring, and in fall they stop to recover after their long journey back over the water. Create habitat in your northern Ohio yard, and you will be visited by rare and colorful warblers. The plants in this collection provide large amounts of caterpillars, seeds, or nectar for songbirds and hummingbirds.
